Dancing into Double Digits in the Trackside District in Downtown Columbus

When my daughter Kaitlyn asked for dance photos to celebrate her 10th birthday, I was beyond excited! As a photographer, I’ve always loved capturing special moments, but there’s something truly magical about taking photos of your own children—especially when they genuinely want you to document their passions. So, you better believe I made that happen!

Let’s be real, my kids don’t always want to stand in front of my camera, so when Kaitlyn expressed her desire for these dance photos, I embraced the opportunity wholeheartedly. As busy as I am capturing beautiful moments for clients, I've recognized the importance of pausing to document my own family’s milestones. This year, I made it a priority to change that and focus on capturing more memories with my kids.
